Melody and Mark, Indian Pond Country Club, Kingston, MA
In the past three years, I have been in attendance as a planner at close to fifty (yes fifty!) weddings. On May 3, I had the honor of being a guest at the wedding of Melody and Mark. I have to say, it was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever been to.
My dates for the evening were three lovely young ladies, Kayla, Alyssa and Riley. I spent time with them at the Salon earlier in the day getting dolled up for their Auntie Mel’s big day.
As we entered the venue, we saw all of the guest placecards-mini cactuses! So sweet and creative…and mine made it back to St. John!
The Ceremony was held outdoors, overlooking the Indian Pond Golf Course. The sun was shining and the weather was perfect. Melody’s choice of entrance songs were impecable: “Today I Met the Boy I’m Gonna Marry” by Darlene Love as her family and Matrons of Honor, Marjie and Molly entered, followed by “Feels Like Home” by Chantal Kreviazuk as Melody was walked down the aisle by her father. Goosebumps! The bride was beyond stunning in her absolutely gorgeous wedding gown. The Ceremony was beautiful, with the involvement of nieces for readings and heartfelt vows.
Their wedding cake…hilarious and delicious. Their table scape…gorgeous. The centerpieces of peonies, roses and hydrangeas in antique mason jars were incredibly beautiful. And the best part of the place settings? Mad Libs sheets for all guests to fill out and turn in! I can only imagine the stories on some of those! Melody left no detail out. Everything was gorgeous.
It was a truly magical celebration filled with so much love and fun!
And the dance floor was hopping all night! Congratulations to Melody and Mark on a happy marriage! Love you guys!
