Lisa and Jonathan’s Wedding-Caneel Bay Resort

Jonathan reached out to me ten months before his planned wedding date. As luck would have it, I was planning a trip to MA after an event and I was able to meet with him in person. We met over lunch and started planning what turned out to be his and Lisa’s incredibly fun filled wedding week on St. John! Lisa had previously lived on St. Thomas so she had a great idea on what she wanted her overall wedding week to consist of.

The happy couple created a very unique invitation styled as a passport that outlined all of the events of the wedding week.

Guests were invited to a Welcome Party on Thursday at Dr!nk STJ. The beverages were flowing and delicious food was provided by Sam & Jack’s.

On Friday, a group of about 70 of their guests ventured over to Jost Van Dyke for a day filled with fun. They started with a snorkel off Sandy Spit, followed by a catered lunch at Foxy’s. They wrapped up their boat day at White Bay where they visited Soggy Dollar.

On her wedding morning, Lisa and her girls were pampered by Sugar and Spice’s Glam Squad. They spent the morning in the Activities Room/Bridal Suite at Caneel Bay laughing and preparing for the big day.

Lisa and Jonathan decided to have their First Look at the Sugar Mill Ruins. Lisa made friends with some local donkeys on her way to the First Look!

The happy bride and groom then made their way to their Ceremony where their close to 115 guests witnessed their vows.

After the Ceremony, guests enjoyed the Cocktail Hour in the Turtle Bay Estate House Verandah followed by dinner in the main dining room of the Estate House. Guests were seated at tables named after different beaches on St. John. Lisa favored navy blue and green as her wedding colors and we just love how the tables looked! Bouquets and centerpieces were created by East End Flower Shop.
